Hello Rufus:—

How are you today? O.K.?

We had a nice summer day this afternoon—Ha—Kind of cool and cloudy this morning.

I went to school this morning and took a drivers aptitude test this afternoon—Everybody had to take it,—we didn’t drive, it was on paper—My reactions were perfect. O.K. unh?

I didn’t get a letter today—two tomorrow. I did get a letter camels from your mother tho—and let me tell you—I’ve

been looking for them too. I’ve been wondering what I was going to smoke the 2nd and 3rd week this month. Thanks to her.

I’m (kid) kind of “riled” up” I took two pair of Kaiki breeches (or sompin [arrow pointing to Kaiki]) over to Funston—They were a way to big and I had them altered—They done a perfect job except they left them too long in the waist, too big in the knees, didn’t take them up any (I’d blush if I told you) Ha—Outside of that they done a perfect job.

They will probably take 4 or $5.00 (bucks) out of my pay and think nothing of it—damn luck—If I must say such a thing—Ha.

There is another.

I left for a little while and to save me I can’t think of the rest of the sentence I started.

Well—I know this is very short Honey, but my vocabulary is just about exhausted so I will say

Until tomorrow

Goodnight Sweetheart

I Love You
