Hello Honey

How you be?—Right pert I hope.—Youre Honey is in pretty good shape and further more is intending to stay that a way.—Isn’t that nice?

I played a few more rubbers of bridge tonight—Lost as usual—Bid [illegible cross out] 5 once and made 7—My luck. Ha!

I’m writing this in a hurry as it is late and I’m going to Manila in the morning and me need the sleep.—Things are kind of slow around here at present altho we are flying quite a bit, training flights mostly—I’m trying

[unnumbered page 2]

to get my flight in tip top shape—If I have enough time I think I can [illegible cross out] do it too.—Mostly formation and acrobatics.—

Got a letter from Mom and Aunt Ruth—They seemed to like the things I sent you—Guess Elizabeth is going to skip a grade—Good for her—She is a pretty smart kid—I hope not too smart.

Well Honey—Signing off—with all my love

Goodnight Sweetheart

I Love You
