Evenin’ Honey

Long time no write eh?

Been buzy—Flew two days in a row to Formosa and spent the rest of the time in the sack—Well not quite all of it but a lot.—Those are tiring missions—Long and hot.—We are having some fairly good missions, long range—Lots of good combat and a faint chance of running into a Nip—One Flight saw a couple Nips but couldn’t leave their bombers.—I was in the area but must’ve ziged when they zaged.

Two more new boys in the Sqd. and one of them in my Flt.—Lot of pilots now.

Glad to hear you got the boxes I sent you and that the contents suited you O.K.—The nightgown wasn’t so hot but the best I could do—I liked the sweater tho, also the rugs.

I did recieve a box from you not so long ago—I tho’t I told you about it—It was pretty well battered up but O.K. Tank ya!

Got a letter from Sib today—No news.

I have about 336 hrs. now—Getting right up there am I not?

I must go and sign some papers so I will say
