Good Morning

Sweetheart

How is my honey—Smiling and happy as usual I hope. I’m O.K. except for being sleepy—I managed somehow to get up at 7:30 this morning—wonder how that happened. I sometimes wonder what I’ll do if for year after year I have to get up at 5:00 or 6:00 A.M. That would be terrible.

I feel pretty proud of you (always do) but more so after you told me about your trip to the Dentist and having a couple of teeth pulled—I honestly thought it would “blow over”—Ha—I got fooled. It really takes a lot of guts “intestinal fortitude” to go to a place and have them

hammer on your teeth for awhile—I know it scares hell out of me.—In fact I need some dental work done (I) now and I’ve been putting it off.

I just made my early morning cup of tea—want some? It is purty good stuff, Even if I say so myself.—Of course I never was bashful about saying things myself.

(I) I’m going to fly soon thus this letter will have to end soon—I think I’ll have to get some of the boys out of their sack—Maybe not I see one of them walking along the Dike now. W

We’ve been doing a lot of Dive bombing lately—I like those kind of missions.

[unnumbered page 3]

How is the youngun’ doing Does he “sound off” about three in the morning or is he a nice quiet baby. Ha—I’d like to see you changing him—purty messy isn’t it?

Our rainy season is slowly starting—It rains like hell every evening now and will soon be raining all the time—Wet isn’t it?

For now
